Masterpiece Massage Therapy

I judge the quality of a massage by how much I resemble Gumby at the end. After getting a massage with Karla I feel like Gumby's twin, every time. The space she practices in is nice. She is very attentive to my needs, always checking in to see what is going on with my body before we begin. The massage she gives is essential to my overall well being and as such I schedule an hour and half massage every 2 weeks in order to maintain that level of relaxation. I highly recommend her.

I had a headache for an entire week that I could not get rid ofby the time she finished with me an hour latermy headache was completely gone and I felt better than I had in a long time! She's awesome!

I have been an avid massage fan for over 20 years, and consider myself lucky to have found among the best therapists in each town I have lived in. Karla is one in a millionher extreme therapeutic knowledge and competence, combined with her kind and caring nature, make her among the most outstanding massage therapists I have ever had the pleasure to encounter!!!

On my first visit I had a terrible headache, and my shoulders were killing me from stress. Karla was professional and caring, soothing and comforting me by the tone of her voice. The massage office is a dedicated space in her home; candles were lit, the music was soft and ethereal, and her equipment was excellent. I am a heavy guy, and she had what she called a body support system which allowed me (with my big tummy) to lie comfortably face down. This was a first in the massages I've had. Karla said she uses it for pregnant women as well. Karla advised me she had been doing massage for twenty years, and it really showed in the work she did. The pressure was just right, and she knew just the right things to say to calm my mind and spirit. My headache went away, and I felt the muscles in my neck and back melt and relax in her hands. The candles, scents, music and her soothing voice and touch transported me---afterwards I was completely relaxed. The effect was lasting---it was at least two or three days before I began tensing up again. Her prices were very reasonable so I hope to see her once a week. It's hard to find someone you can totally trust, be strictly professional and discreet, someone who won't judge your body type---Karla was perfect in every way.

I received an excellent massage from Karla. Having had many massages in the past (but unfortunately not often enough!) I was pleased by the way she tailored the experience to suit what I needed (lots of work on my shoulder and extremely good neck work!). Too often I have had massages that seem "routine" or formulaic, but Karla has the experience and knowledge to know how to concentrate on the areas that need it most without neglecting other areas or over-doing it. And she can come to your house! Definitely recommended!

Karla worked on me and what a wonderful, relaxing experience. She has such a loving, giving heart that you can't help but feel better. My lower back and neck feel terrific but the really amazing thing is I NEVER mentioned to her about my "foot" problem. I've never been sure if it was actually my foot or related to my back injury but my right foot has serious problems alternating between numbness and grinding/shooting pain. Sometimes to the point of not being able to walk. But NOW it feels great! *crossing fingers*

I've received massage from Karla on several occasions. She has never failed to give a really fantastic massage and has at times helped relieve fairly significant pain and muscle tension. She is professional, attentive to her client's needs and very talented.

I got a good massage here, so I called a few weeks later to set up another appointment. She never returned my call. I gave her the benefit of a doubt (maybe she was out of town) and a few weeks later referred somebody else to her. Gosh, she didn't return their call either! Maybe because massage is essentially such a personal service, it's hard not to take this as a personal snub against me. Oh well, from now on I'll deal with a provider who is more responsive.
